This kid cracks me up!
So every month I have taken Jenson's picture on his birthday so I can make a book at the end of the year. On the 17th he turned 7 months old, and I was trying to hurry and get a pic before my camera's batteries died.... every time the camera flashed, his whole face would scrunch up and do this:
I was cracking up, and after 6 pics my camera died, and this is what I was left with. He wasn't mad or anything... his face just had this goofy reaction to the flash. I love him.

Wow have I been slacking! So much has happened that I haven't blogged about!
I didn't even post Jenson's first Halloween as mommy's little monster,
His first Thanksgiving up in Bird's Eye with Jake's family,
His first Christmas in Seattle with my family
Which included going to see the ocean for the first time,
His first time swimming with his cousins (at the Legacy Pool which he loved),
And his first time sledding up in Bird's Eye!
How's that for a quick recap of our adventures!
So much has happened in the last few months! Jenson is so fun and sitting up like a big boy, rolling over, and talking our ears off (I mostly just hear all about da-da-da all day, no mama yet). Also, his first tooth just poked through a few days ago!
I finished school in December at UVU so I now have my AS in Early Childhood Education. Since then I have been able to be a full-time mom, which I am really enjoying, I feel really blessed. I thought I would get bored and not know what to do, but I have kept pretty busy. We are in the process of re-modeling our basement into a preschool, and it is really turning out cute! Once that is done I will get my business license to make it official. Preschool won't start until the 2010 school year in August, so I'm just going to be busy getting everything ready for that, and hopefully filling my classes.
My dad found a job down here in Utah and will probably start in March, which I am SO EXCITED about! It has been so hard being so far from my family, so this is really an answer to my prayers. I can't believe it is actually happening so soon!
Things are great here in the little Argyle fam, hope all is well with all of you!

My baby is a THUMB SUCKER!
So just last night Jenson discovered his thumb! He went through a phase where he would fuss and only take his binky for a few days, but then he found this really neat thing that is attached to his hand! It is so funny, because he hasn't figured out the thumb-sucking fist yet, so his hand covers his face. Jake tried to teach him how to do it the "right way," but Jens likes to do things his way. :)

Friday with Jenson
Yesterday Jenson had his 2 month check up, and he got his shots! He was so brave and only cried for a minute. Luckily dad was there to hold his hand because this mom wasn't getting anywhere near those shots! He is such a big boy:
Weight: 12 lbs 12 oz (90th percentile)
Height: 24.5 in (75th percentile)
Head: 16 in (66th percentile)
The Dr. said at this rate he'll be 6'5"! He must get it from his tall uncles!

Jenson's Blessing
Jenson got blessed by his daddy 2 weeks ago, I'm a little slow on the post! But it was such a great day, Jake did a great job, you couldn't even tell he was "the most nervous he's ever been in his life." :) I am so proud of my boys, I love them so much! And I am so grateful for the family and friends who were able to attend, we took up every single big row in our little chapel! Thanks friends and family for all of your help that day, and for your support and love, we love you and I don't know what we would do without you!
In the circle of priesthood holders that blessed him, Jenson had 2 grandpas, 3 great grandpas, 3 uncles, 2 great uncles, 1 second cousin, and 2 best friend's dads! What a lucky little boy to have those role models in his life!
